Would highly recommend. Preparing for 11plus exams can be very stressful for students and parents. My daughter started her journey with Tutors11plus at the end of year 4 & spent the entire year 5 following the process of building knowledge, revising and practicing. I would recommend starting the process at year 3 if possible to have a steady start and to ease into the process. Tutors11plus now provide lessons from year 3 onwards. I found the teachers really helpful, encouraging parents and inspiring students. I would definitely send my younger children to tutors11plus. My eldest daughter managed to pass all the grammar exams that she attempted. The teachers were available throughout the whole process whether it's to clear doubts or to clarify tricky questions. The entire process involved several practice sessions & mock exams which help improve speed and improvise real exam conditions. I am forever grateful for the encouragement the teacher Ms Shahina provided for my daughter. Thank you

Year 5 experience
We initially made contact with Julian & Shahina in mid September 2021. Our daughter was in Year 5 at that time, and felt that we needed some support (especially in NVR i.e. Non Verbal Reasoning as we didn't have a clue).
We were very impressed with the consultation, as Julian & Shahina was very transparent with the structure, which helped manage our expectations...needless to say we joined immediately.
Our daughter really looked forward to attending the weekly class. Shahina made a lasting impression on our daughter, in that she was able to explain, and not simply regurgitate, the key features of topics that I was a bit reluctant to address (in the fear of her not grasping concepts) after any lesson.
We were also impressed with the range of resources that were offered - ranging from 'bite-size' material to an app which facilitated self-study. Additionally, Shahina also provided 'laser-guided' feedback after each lesson.
Our daughter passed the Bexley Selection Test & Kent Selection Test for the 23/24 YR7 intakes. Ironically, our daughter's highest scores were in NVR, which is a true testament to Shahina's patience and guidance.
The only regret we have is that we didn't use their services for our eldest daughter.
Shahina kept both pupil and parent on track with constant assessments and homework on a weekly basis. She is contactable and responded quickly with any queries we had, the regular structure meant my daughter knew what to learn and how to execute in exam conditions. She has now passed the Kent and Bexley exams and we will be looking to send our son here in the near future. My daughter does miss her weekly lessons and made good likeminded friends.
My daughter joined tutor plus in year 4. Jasmine, Julian and Shahina are amazing at what they do! Their passion and dedication is beyond words! Not only were they committed to ensuring they get the best out of my daughter but also giving me advice on how best to support my daughter at home. My daughter passed her 11 plus with flying colours. My son is currently being tutored by tutor 11 plus and I completely confident that he is in safe hands. My advice to any parent would be to listen to their advice and act on them and to simply trust their expertise. They really do know what they are talking about !!!

Good friendly tutors, your child will need to have the mentality to cope with a lot of homework they set to benefit from the weekly tutor but it is worth it.

Our daughter wanted to attempt the 11 plus examination, but she only told us in May of this year. We spoke to the team at Tutors 11 plus and they explained how they work. We signed up straight away and my daughter started the course the next week as this was during Covid the tutors said she should try a session for free to see if she would enjoy the learning style; she did this and loved it! She then started to attend the weekly Saturday 2-hour classes; we were really impressed with how brilliant the tutors were and the way they taught the children.
The regular testing and weekly homework really brought on our daughter. The tutors were always available throughout the week to answer any questions and they really went above and beyond, especially as the test drew nearer. We saw a massive improvement in our daughters work and even though Maths was the subject she struggled with the most, by the end of the course it did not worry her anymore and she became very confident in all subjects that were part of the examination.
We also took advantage of the mock examinations that they run, and this was fantastic to get our daughter use to the examination process. Whilst we don’t know if she has passed the tests as the competition and standards are very high, what we do know is that without the help of the Tutors 11 plus she would not have had the confidence to enter the exams with a high expectation of success.
The tutors really care about the progress of the children and really do go the extra mile when it comes to giving them all the best chance of success.
I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone who is looking to give their children a great boost for the 11 plus examination. They really are a first class organisation A++++++. While I was looking for a tutor for my daughter with whom I can work together to support my daughter, who is reachable and who can give me feedback... i got the reference for Tutors 11 plus from a friend and I am so thankful to her. Mrs Jasmine and Julian completely supported my daughter's start of the 11 plus journey and Shahina carried over in year 5 and what a brilliant, dedicated team. You know weekly progress; there are weekly tests, huge range of homework and packs covering all types of questions, tremendous revision of vocabulary... Revision courses during holidays, mocks in last 3 months with detailed feedback. Hoping my daughter gets through but nevertheless I highly recommend tutors 11 plus. Trust them and go as per their guidance. We are very sad to not having Saturday lessons from them :( as its almost exam time now. Will miss them. Such an amazing supporting team!!!

When our son joined the sessions, he wasn’t strong on English and he has radically improved since then!
Weekly in face sessions are well designed and prepared. As a parent you will still need to work with your kid and check his answers.
Their online platform is nicely coming together. You can submit your answers and also engage your kid to do online NVR, Math and others tests.
Tutors are seasoned professionals and they know the trend and adjust the course accordingly.

I had a first hand experience with their services provided and I must commend their relentless and constant support all through the years we spent with them. We started when my child was in year 4 and I must say they worked closely with every child to know their strengths and weaknesses, which helped in passing both the Bexley and Kent exams at the beginning of year 6. When I first contacted Tutors11plus Julian was helpful and patient in answering all my questions. I had no hesitation in putting my son in for extra tuition here. While he joined very late- only a few months before the test, he made huge progress in his mock tests In such a short amount of time.
Shahina is always encouraging and very responsive to all messages - she genuinely cares about the outcome of all the children and both her and Julian want the best for your child. It is hard work - the whole family has to put in the effort to keep up with the extra homework, however, now with the 11+ exams over, we will miss Shahina greatly.
Update: I am very happy to say that all the hard work has paid off and despite joining late and only 3 months classes with Tutors11plus. My son has passed the Bexley exam!!

I got recommended this place from a friend and I am recommending anyone who reads this review, to send their children here if they are serious about getting their children here into grammar school. The work they provide is a lot, but if you follow their programme, stick with it, it will be one of the best decisions you make.
They were so good that I put a deposit down for my daughter to secure a place with them in 2022. 11 Plus team, I'll see you in 2022.

We are very pleased with the progress our son has made under Julian & Jasmin's tutorship. We only started 4 month ago, and nicely surprised to see how our son is advancing in his writing, vocab and math. Despite COVID and lessons temporarily moving online, Tutors are doing great job in keeping kids interested and challenged all the time. Julian/Jasmin/shahina are fabulous. They take the stress off around planning and motivating your child. The homework is set for you. They are extremely flexible in their approach and give you time to discuss your child's performance. The class sessions are motivating and my child loves learning in the environment they create.
